I have to say that I am giddy with excitement whilst I write this. Last week I learned that the new face of my client Hunter boots, will be non other than my blogger idol – LibertyLondonGirl’s very own Sasha Wilkins. I admit that I let out a small yelp when I heard the news. The marriage is truly well made and this will only bring good things to the brand.

Wilkins truly deserves all the hype that she’s received, may it long continue. With a sharp eye for detail, this is a blogger that refuses to compromise on quality. From reading only one post you can tell immediately that the woman is a self-confessed perfectionist and bloody well proud of it.

I follow her religiously and have read close to every word she’s ever blogged. Stalker syndrome? Most definitely. Nine times out of ten I find myself reading her posts and wishing that I had come up with them first. All hail the queen of blog land.

If there is anyone out there who forces me (not literally) to read my work one hundred times over to check for errors, it’s LLG. Every post she churns out is polished perfection – something that every blogger, including yours truly, longs to achieve. There are occasions when I just want to reel off a ridiculous brain dumb of badly thought out and poorly spelt prose, I justify it to myself as being raw. Sadly ‘raw’ is very difficult to accomplish and you just end up looking like an illiterate donkey who cannot construct sentences. The embarrassment you inevitably feel when you read back your work after it’s been posted is virtually unrepairable, definitely not worth the ‘raw’ risk.

So here’s to Ms. Sasha of LLG. Her self made success (she has achieved everything from hard word and dedication)  proves to me that with good writing, unbridled passion and an unshakable point of view comes great rewards.

And on top of all that, she has a really cute dog too…
